3.3.2 Main Menu Æ Configuration

There are five configuration modes from which to choose when using CiLink. The configuration

mode and a brief description is provided here, with detailed information provided on the pages

indicated:

• System Type

(page 3-5) – Selects between a standalone

system (one transceiver) and a 1:1 redundant system.

• Signal Path (page 3-6) – Select to view and change the

following transceiver parameters:

Up Converter parameters

TX Status On/Off

Frequency

Amplifier Attenuation (00.00-20.00 dB)

Amp On/Off

Mute On/Off

Down Converter parameters

RX Status On/Off

Frequency

Amplifier Attenuation (00.00-20.00 dB)

Amp On/Off

Mute On/Of

• LNA (page 3-7) – Select to view or change Current Source Enable/Disable; Fault Logic

On/Off; Enable/Disable the allowable Current Window, and adjust the alarm monitoring

percentage ranges for the Current Window.

• Miscellaneous (page 3-8) – Select to view or change Cold Start, Auto Fault Recovery

(AFR), Local Reference Oscillator Adjustment, External Reference Fault Logic, and Up and

Down Converter slope adjustments.

• Redundancy Controller (page 3-9) – Online Unit (XCVR) selector, Operating Mode

AUTO/MAN, Waveguide Switch Status OK/FT, Controller Voltages monitoring +5VDC

and +12VDC.

Either select a configuration mode to proceed further, or tap

[ok] to return to the Main Menu

from the drop-down

Configuration screen.
